So this isn't art related; a friend of mine has a reforestation project in Greece I would like to share with you all. The plan is to create a forest park and reforest three mountains in Athens, which currently suffers from having air that is dangerously deficient in oxygen. The first step will be to convert the old airport into a better use of space by organising tree plantation. Check out the Rockethub project here -- there is a short video which is pretty cool and worth a watch! I have donated to the project myself and will have a tree planted in my name. Together we can make a difference. http://www.rockethub.com/projects/26173-eliniko-

Graphite

0 min read
So as you can see, recently I've become active again, this time attempting to do realism using graphite. So far I've been using the Faber-Castell 9000 series of pencil, which I'm slowly replacing with Caran D'ache Fixpencil 77's -- leadholders that feel a lot like a normal pencil. Ultimately I want to get good at portraiture in this medium, so I've been practising particular features. Comments and tips on how to improve appreciated!

Exhibition

My Dad has organised an art exhibition in Brookman's Park, and I've put in a few paintings. There was a private viewing on thursday before it opens - two people bought my paintings so I was really pleased!
